Initial Online Consultation & 4-Week Follow-Up Call
Once you have booked your free inquiry call and spoken to our patient care team, you will then begin your treatment, which starts with an online consultation.
Cost: £240*
Duration: 30 minutes
What to Expect: This is a comprehensive consultation with our expert weight management specialist, Dr. Shashi Prashi. It will cover your medical history, goals for weight loss, and a full discussion about how the service works and how it can help you.
You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have regarding treatment. At the end of the consultation, you will be sent your prescription, and your weight loss medication will be delivered to you.
After four weeks, you will receive a follow-up call to check your progress with the treatment. This is included in the price.

Blood Test: Before your appointment, you will need to pay for a blood test, which will be reviewed by your doctor before your first consultation. Our blood tests are specifically designed to include key biomarkers that provide valuable insights into your weight loss progress, helping you track results more effectively and stay on course toward your goals. 3-Month Online Follow-Up Consultation
Cost: £100*
Duration: 15 minutes
What to Expect: This follow-up consultation is an opportunity to review your progress, discuss any challenges, and adjust your treatment plan if necessary. It will also allow you to discuss any lifestyle modification and health tips and advice with your doctor to maximise the effectiveness of your treatment.
Payment: We require payment at the time of booking to secure your consultation.

6-Month Online Follow-Up Consultation
Cost: £100*
Duration: 15 minutes
What to Expect: This appointment will include a review of your progress, and any required adjustments to your treatment plan.
Payment: We require payment at the time of booking to secure your consultation.

Any Other Follow-Up Consultations
Any additional follow-up consultations will be charged at a cost of £100.
Cost of Weight Loss Medication
The weight loss medication is not included in the above prices and will be charged separately.
The cost of weight loss medication ranges from £120-£180 and will last for 4 weeks.
Our treatment is personalised to each patient, so the final cost will vary depending on the type of weight loss medication you are prescribed. This can be discussed during your initial consultation with your doctor.
Blood Test Costs
As part of our weight loss clinic, you will be required to take blood tests to begin your treatment and monitor your progress. This allows us to get a clear picture of your health, prescribe the right treatment, and ensure that your treatment is working as intended.
The cost for a blood test ranges from £70-£110.

Medical Insurance
Will my private medical insurance cover my weight management treatment?
We do not work in partnership with any medical insurance companies. Please check with your medical insurer to determine whether you will be covered before booking your appointment with us.
Please note that The Marion Gluck Clinic is registered as a General Practice and not a Consultant Specialist. If you are covered by private medical insurance, you will need to pay the cost in full to our clinic and claim the amount from your health insurer afterwards.
Other Charges & Services
During your treatment with us, you may require information or health records from our clinic. Patient records can be requested free of charge and will be processed within 30 days of receiving the written request.
Cancellation Policy
All appointments must be cancelled at least two working days in advance to receive a refund. This can be done by contacting our patient care team on 020 7191 2378 or emailing secretary@mariongluckclinic.com.
